A Couple of New Introductions: Meet Our New Central Texas Coordinator and Legal Assistant Intern!

Happy Spring, everyone! It's been a fantastic month for us here at LSVAP; we have the amazing opportunity now to introduce two new team members: Perla Arellano Fraire who is our new Central Texas Coordinator, and Jennifer Vallejo who is joining us as our new legal assistant intern.

Perla Arellano Fraire

Before joining LSVAP, Perla worked as a journalist for the ¡Ahora Sí! newspaper covering an array of topics including immigration, grassroots activism and resources for the immigrant community. She received her bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her associate degree in communication from Amarillo College. She hopes to continue working in favor of the immigrant community.

Jennifer Vallejo

Coming from a family of immigrants, Jennifer was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She currently attends Austin Community College where she is in the process of obtaining her Associates Degree in Applied Science specializing in Legal Administration. Jennifer's future goals include returning to school for her bachelor's degree as she is still discovering her purpose but she is leaning towards social work and/or teaching. During her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, crafting, and photography.

We are extremely excited and grateful to have these two join our team; we've lucky to have them! Welcome Perla and Jennifer!
